Elijah Pressley (b. abt 1846) served as a private in Company D, 13th Tennessee Volunteer Cavalry.

Elijah Pressley was born about 1846 in Washington County, Tennessee.[1]
Civil War service[]
Pressley enlisted as a private in Company D on January 1, 1865 in Knoxville, Tennessee for a period of three years. He mustered in September 1, 1865 in Knoxville.[2]
At enlistment he was 18 years old, 5' 6" tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, and by occupation a farmer.
He is listed as present for duty throughout his term of service.
Pressley mustered out with regiment on September 5, 1865 at Knoxville. He had last been paid to enlistment, owed $2.01 to the government for clothing, and was owed a $100 bounty.
Post-war life[]
No application for a pension has been located, nor has a date of death or where he is buried.
